i was looking to go with a manual rack kit. i was looking on ebay and was wondering if this one is ok? i see the ratio is 20:1, i have seen 18:1 but also 15:1. isnt 15:1 stock? would 20:1 be better?

If you really dont NEED to , I wouldnt.

I just swapped mine out to make room for turbos and
I find myself missing it a lot in parking lots.

Driving around ....... no big deal
Parking lots ......... SUCK

FYI

yes I believe 15-1 is stock.

this in going on my project 86. so it'll be a drag car with the occasional night cruise. so i wont be in the parking lots much other than maybe a car show.

I think the higher the ratio the more the tire moves
in respect to the stearing wheel.

So a drag car would want a low number to keep tires
from moving too much, where as an auto cross guy
would want a high number to make stearing more responsive.

Someone please correct me if I have that backwards

1994 cobras came with 14.7:1 stock if that helps any......
