Default why won't my check oil light go away?

So i just replaced my heater core. what a pain... and now my check oil light won't go away. the oil level is where it is supposed to be, i even added a little just to see if that would do anything. it didn't.
is there a certain wire i should check?
thanks!

Maybe try disconnecting the negative on the battery for about ten minutes and than put it back on,it might reset it self than?

Hopefully you did not leave something disconnected behind the dash, a power wire or ground, you may need to take the dash back out and see if theres anything disconnected.

You could of pinched a ground wire and now the lights stuck on.

i'll try disconnecting the battery and then see from there. i counted all the connectors that i disconnected and then made sure i reconnected the same amount, so i don't think i forgot one. now i'm doubting myself. lol
any chance that the sensor could have gone bad? or something inside the pan could be clogging it? i'm not sure where it is or how it works though
