Default RE: Heads and Cam...?

The Trickflow and Holley kits bolt on without any internal modifications and so do most other heads and cams.
Im putting AFR heads and a Comp cam in my car this week and nothing needs to be done to the block, pistons, etc.

As long as you have a modest enough lift that the valves properly clear the pistons with the heads you use, and you have the proper valve springs, you should be fine
