AOD gears?

RE: AOD gears?
It depends on your rear axle ratio. If you have 3.55s or 3.73's (or 4.10's, then DEFINITELY), then i'd get a lower than average ratio. That will give you an extra 2-4 MPH an 1st and 2nd gear, which will help with your ring and pinion. If you have a high gear ratio in your rear axle (2.73, 3.13, whatever) then go stock or higher.

thats not what he asked at all
stock, the aod is 2.40 in first and 1.47 in second if memory serves. i think the only other choice you have is the wide gear set which is about 2.80 in first and 1.60 in second

RE: AOD gears?
yeah the widegear set is 2.84 1st, 1.55 2nd and only other options i know of, it's the mark VIII stuff
i'd go w/ it......the whole kit gives better clutches and better od band too, so check it out b4 you end up w/ a bunch of extra parts.
assuming it's a DD or more street than strip, i'd do wide gearset, 3000 stall (precisions stallion) , and 4.10's
not so much street than 4000+
