Default quick question

When you change your rear main seal do you have to drain the oil first? This will be my first time changing it.

you dont really have to drain it to change it, but its a good idea to change the oil anyway, so the seal has some fresh oil for its first go-around.

no u dont have to drain the oil jus be carefull removing the seal,after removal make sure to clean the surface well and i would wipe a lite coat of lube on it and reinstall.
