Planning on putting on the 73mm SVO Brake calipers. Things that I have read say use a 86 mustang SVO or a 91 Lincoln Mark VII for a direct fit. Also, that the 86-91 Lincolns and 86-91 Crown Vics use a 73mm Piston. My question is will these be a direct fit also? As they will be easier to find. Thanks

That is where I saw the information. That is why I posted the question. Here is the quote that I am confused about from that page:

"Get the calipers for a '91 Lincoln Mark VII for a direct bolt in (other 86-91 Lincoln's should all have the 73 mm calipers, 86-91 Crown Victorias and 84-86 SVO 4cyl Turbo Mustangs). "

Now, will the latter calipers bolt right in also, or is it only the Mustang SVO and the Lincoln Mark VII??

if they didnt list anything else, assume it doesnt fit

ok here is the information I have about this from "The Official Ford Mustang 5.0 Technical Reference & Performance Handbook 1979 through 1993" by Al Kirschenbaum

72.9mm front caliper pistons that where standard on the 1982 - 83 Lincoln Continental and 1987 - 88 Lincoln Mark VII LSC with 11.35" 5- lug rotors.
A number of production 1980 - 92 Lincoln Continental, Town Car, LSC, and Mark VII models and some 1979 - 82 Lincoln Versailles came with 11" front rotors (actually 11.08" same as SVO, raven), 72.9mm front caliper pistons.
