Default 303 vs TFS stage 1

ok, so i was looking at craigslist, and i found a couple people around here that have b,e, and f cams used for around $100. i was wondering if it would be worth it to buy one of these, or should i just spend more money and get the TFS stage 1 cam??? its going with gt40p heads.

Get the TFS1. I have it with my GT40Ps (installed 4* advanced) and it hauls ***. Sounds good too.

I have this cam if its .499 .510 stage one?
and I have gt40p heads
they advertise this cam as a nitrous/supercharger cam.I wasnt that impressed with the cam its okay but then I added nitrous and ohhh boy I think this cam is better with some kind of nitro or blower app...
I would go with one of thosee,b,f, cams if your not planning on adding a power adder.
theres a webpage about these heads and that dude sayeth the heads are better with a strait up cam .488 .488 etc... just my 2 cents........I ran 14.20 no juice if that helps yah
gt40p heads
gt40p headers
edelbrock 5.0 intake
75 mm throttle body
cai
underdrive pulleys
373 gear
and the tfs stage one cam
ohh i ran 13.40 with a 100 shot felt like i was ice skating im sure ill put it in the 12's with some sticky tires

you probably already know this but gt40p heads stop flowing after .500 lift so anything bigger wouldnt really benefit you agian just my 2 cents...........

Id like to know a few things bout tfs cam myself it seems decent but i dont know why everyone bad mouths all the abc cams, e and b i can understand but f cam with awesome idle sound 226 duration and 512 lift it actually has higher specs than a tfs cam and has more mid and top end power which is what the 5.0 lacks.

well i won't be putting a blower on it for at least a year or two, if that makes any difference. so do abc cams work better with gt40p's???

Stage 1 isa small cam, so a f-cam my be better for you. Oh and by the way i have a Brand New In The Box F-cam i bought from summit a few months ago and never used or installed, My price is cheaper than summit. I live in ga, pm me if interested.

one of my buddies told me that the f cam has too much lift for the gt40p's, and that the e cam is better for those heads. so i think i'm going to go with an e cam

Any aftermarket cam you select "requires" that you also upgrade the valve springs/retainers....otherwise you will not be getting whatever potential the cam has......
