im just geting into 5.0 but i see alot about gt 40 heads what are the donor cars with theses heads and are they worth it?bang for your buck?

I know the 94-95 cobras have the gt40 heads. What year is your 5.0?

cobras have these heads, good luck finding one of those lying around. explorers and mountaineers have them. if your on the cheap they are worth it otherwise buy some good aftermarket ones.

bang for your buck = gears, nitrous, sub frame connectors, sticky tires, full h/c/i swap, supercharger/turbo.procharger

Don't u need aftermarket headers for the explorer heads?

You need new headers if you use the GT40P heads, the regular GT40's will bolt up w/ stock headers fine
