Default radiator

i am in need of a new radiator because my car slowly overheats during the summer. i was woundering how the summit aluminum radiators are? do they work as good as the fluidyne or is it worth just spending the 400$?
also if i do not need the tranny cooler can i still use the radiator if i do not hook the cooler up?
thanks

yes the aluminum ones work great...they have increased fin size for greater volumne and cooling capacity as well as aluminum disipates heat quicker.......and if you don't need the tranny cooler then don't hook it up it'll be fine for a manual equiped car

if it startst to rise in traffic, than you don't have enough fan. if it starts to rise while cruising then you don't have enough radiator.

but yeah i used that 179 dollar one from summit and it worked great. its pretty big and will take up a lot of room but it does fit. i had to trim my battery tray...

i have the summit rad....it is slighter bigger than stock.....actually alot bigger than stock. very nice fits well and you'll have to modify your stock brackets to make it fit, at least i had to.
