Exhaust gasket help
Real quick guys. I bought new exhaust gaskets and one side has a metal lining. Do I want the gasket material facing the head or the metal lining facing the head? My leaky gasket was just material with no metal lining.
Anyway, here is a helpful hint for finding exactly where your exhaust leak is. Get a 3/8" or so hose that is 2 to 3 feet long. Stick one end in your ear and run the other end around all of your exhaust connections; like header to head header to H-pipe and so on. I know there are alot of you that know this but I am sure there are some that don't since I never found it doing my searches on the gasket.
Thanks
