i just put some bbk egual lenth headers on with a bbk h pipe...to match my flows. and now when ur on the gas at all you can hear like an air sucking sound. i was thinking it was from my cold air intake but i dont think it would be as loud as it is. i can ehar it over the radio but not over the exhaust note. any idea's? i made sure the egr pipe was tight and the little air intake tube thing on the h-pipe got welded closed since i dont know what it does. so does anyone know whats wrong? thanks guys.

is it a ticking? it may possibly be an exhaust leak. a good way to tell what the noise is is park your car next to like a wall or something and rev it. the noise bounces it back at you, makes it easier to hear.

no its not a ticking...nowhere near a ticking. i had a horrible crack in my old manifolds so i know what an exhaust leak sounds like. it mearly sounds like a sucking noise.

could possibly be the new intake then. on my friend acura his intake sucks so hard it sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

the exhaust helps air flow which makes you cai suck harder and sound louder, is it a fenderwell cai?

yes its a fenderwell cai.
i was thinking thats what it was cause it kind of sounds like its coming from the area of the intake.
i just wanted to make sure cuase its loud

same here i just did full exhaust and it makes that sound. its your cold air intake sucking for more air b/c of the exhausts better flow.

yea my fenderwell does that too, i have equal shorties also. if you pop the hood and rev it via the tb u can hear it from the fenderwell. i dont particurally like it much b/c it has that ricy-air sound lol
but its making power so i dont give a shyt lol
