Default vortech 94 something wrong?

ok this is for a friend he just installed his vortech v2 sq on his 5.0 his car on motor was putting down 300rwp with a HCI combo theres something wrong and we cant figure it out? first off his car is still running on 19lb injectors and the small as MAF but even so he thought it would run OK but it appears like the car gained no power at all the car seems to run smoothly youcan feel the blower kick in but seems to kick on at 4k and then you 5ish and you to shift. we figured it would ateast make a decent 340 350 untuned but guess not. i had heard that you could use a bigger maf as long as the car had a 95 cobra computer and the maf was calibrated to the injector size is this true? in any input on this would be great

wow. do NOT run that car any longer. you WILL blow it up.
you need at LEAST #30 injectors, maybe #42. depends on what your want out of it. talk to a tuner and have him decide for you.

you are running so lean its not even funny. i'm dead serious man, do not even start that car until you give it more gas.
you can get whatever MAF you desire. the "calibration" is in the computer, not the MAF.

one more question the vortech FMU comes calibrated for 19lbs injectors what do we need to change with that i mean is there a need to upgrade the vortech fmu or is it good enough will changing the MAF and say 42lb injectors be all that would be needed and a tune or is there more?

obviously they dont know what they're doing. 19# injectors are all done at 250rwhp.
