Broken Harmonic Balancer is this all?
Sooo drove my car home after work like any other day parked, then about 3-4 hrs later decided to go out for the night start up the car and holy crap never heard the thing shake and run so rough in my life...The harmonic balancer was banging around down there completly loose, theres some metal shavings as well on my driveway. So am i looking at a expensive or cheap fix? Got a picture dont know if it will help... Its completly loose.

I think it'll take longer than 1-2 hours.
You'll need to get the front cover off the enginf and get a new crank seal to go with the new balancer or it WILL leak.
Summit has SFI balancers for about $140 and Fel-Pro sells a gasket kit for the front of the engine that includes the crank seal.......

r u kidding me? i did my balancer in 25 minutes.
undo the fan, undo the shroud, pull it out.
take off the belt
undo the bolt on the crank pulley/balancer
hook up the puller, pull it off.
slide new balancer on.
insert bolt.
sock it down.
reverse.
easy as pie.
if you want to do the seal, add another 3 minutes. timing cover does not need to come off.

yeah add in 3x actual time for cussing, cigarette, pooping, etc.......
but also yeah, timing cover does not need to come off to replace front seal - it is definately wise to replace while your down there.
as for a balancer, a regular ol' auto parts store unit will work just fine but if you wanna spend more there are better pieces out there that will safely spin up to a higher rpm

from expereince, the bolt holding it on might be hard to get off (it was a bitch on my car) I used a big pipe wrench to hold the balancer while I took the bolt off, yours might come off easier but keep that in mind if you run into problems[8D]
other wise it is really easy
