I have a MSD 6 plus digital ignition in my car and it worked fine until after I did my H/C/I swap and now it doesn't want to put out any spark. The red light indicating power comes on but the car won't turn over when I connect it. Has anyone else ever had this problem with one of these? I hate to get rid of it, its less than a year old.

I checked all the wiring and it visually looks good, any suggestions???

MSD blows! my coil crapped out on me after a year for no reason.. go accel or someting like that

I like it becuase it has a timing retard for my nitrous (not that it matters anymore my tune will take care of that) and it was really easy to install, the thing that confuses me is that it is getting power, just not producing any spark[8D]

This may sound stupid but do you have your tfi module plugged into the harness? Are you getting power to the coil?

ya I have an adaptor that just plugs in, I have checked all the wiring and it is correct. I can unplug the igintion and the car will start perfectly

ship it back to MSD...they should replace it...the one on my 87 went out after 2 years and they replaced it no charge...

thats not bad, I will have to give them a call, I was going to go back to the place that I bought it at and ask them to either replace it or fix mine...the warrenty is supposed to be for a year from point of sale, which it is still under (barely)
