I messed around with different gaps and found that a .040 gap worked the best for me (Autolite 24s.) I went as high as .054 and as low as .035.

Edited to add: of course, this is only because it's not NA

call the parts guy a dumbass???? hmm mr adder didn't see that word in my post????
nope... dont see the exact word dumbass, but I do see "nutcracker" and "pendejo"

ORIGINAL: mjr46

hmmmmmmmmmm gaping them that wide???? did that nutcraker at advance happen to sell you platnium plugs??? if so I'd remove them and install a set of copper core standard resistor plugs........damn pendejo's at autozone always try and get me to buy the platniums
*edit* I was making a generalized remark. Not all of the people working at part stores are as useless as you think... hell. I bet I could find a few that would make you look like a noob.

I gapped mine to .050. Seems to run fine so far. What is the voltage on a stock coil?

I have NGK Iridiums on my Vette. There are highly recommended.

autolite 25s FTW. In these 5.0s a standard resistor autolite is pretty much the best plug you can run IMO, and i'm sure lots of people on this forum will back me up.
