Default RE: 5.0 Spark Plugs

Just wondering, doesn't a larger gap produce a larger flame kernel? The reason I ask is because if you have a gap at say .060" and you have a hotter ignition coil and timing set to 13* or so wouldn't that be favorable to burn more of the fuel/air mixture???

hey I got a 95 5.0. i got it used a week ago and wanted to change the spark plugs. i took them all out fine gapped new ones and went to put them in and drivers side they wouldn't tighten all the way before going loose and passenger side won't go all the way in and will actually start stripping the spark plug the top part of thread. so what does this mean?
