Default neutral safety switch

Is there a way to disbale it on a 91 with a manual trans.......last few weeks it required you to really PUSH on the clutch pedal to start it, and now it wont start at all. BUT if i jump the solenoid it starts right up first time every time. I will eventually fis this the right way but i do need to get back and forth to work, for a few days before i buy it.

The clutch one? I would assume if it's like any other car there are two wires going to a switch on the pedal. Just connect them, and don't drive through the garage.

haha yes i love this,.. lol on my notchback i ran my self into a fence when my little brother kicked the car in gear and i didnt know it.. went to jump it with a screw driver and it came right after me.. luckly shut off... bent the fence a little bit lol.. but ya im trying to help a buddy right now fix this.. theres a nutural safty switch on the tranny left side.. you have to like cut the plug and splice the wires into each other.. we have a diagram on this but it just makes it think the clutch is pushed in by supplying power to one of the wires... we might befixing this tommarow ill post up info..

Why don't you just adjust it under the dash on the pedal asembly? Sounds like it just needs adjusted out so it works properly, instead of hacking up your wiring??

the NSS on the tranny is used to raise the RPM's at idle when 1st gear is detected, as a "failsafe" for stalling.
the clutch switch to be able to start the car, is under the dash, like previously stated.
