92 lx aftermarket tach. where to get signal??

92 lx aftermarket tach. where to get signal??
i am tryin to hook up an aftermarket tach and it says to hook the green wire to the negative side of the coil but on the coil there is only a plug in connector with 2 wires and a wire going from the coil to the distributer where to i hook the green wire to get a tach signal thanks

just tap into the wire that goes to the neg side of coil usually on the tfi coils if you look close to the sides it'll be labled with a + or - if not the color of the wire should beT/Y = TAN/YELLOW

that's because I looked it up as a 1990 on my data base here at work and then I saw you had a 92 =different color code for that year...... the red with green for your model year would be the positive side. sorry for the confusion my fault!!
