yes the C9 / D0 heads are VERY similar to GT40 heads, and yes they are getting hard to find. they also require hard seats installed which adds $$$ to what your gonna have invested in them (heads + valve job + seats = might as well buy GT40's and have heads that are a tad better anyways)

yes, everything lines up EXACTLY the same - not all mustanforum newbies are noobs but that guy gives all the rest the stigma...

springs and retainers were the same on all 289/302/351w heads, valve sizes are the same with all of them too except the early 351w and GT40 stuff
