Default Installing a 460 in a Fox Coupe?

Im goin to buy a notchback 4cy. and im planing on putting a 460 in it. Can I use the stock K-Member, rear end?

K-Member yes, with correct oil pan. Rear end, BIG NO NO!!!

4-cyl cars have 7.5 rear ends that will not tolarate the abuse of a BBF. You need to look into trans upgrade, 8.8 rears will take a good pounding and keep on going. They will support up to the 550-600hp range. special headers will be needed and a special bell housing for the trans

No to hijack the thread but I have a granatelli K-Member in my 4cyl notch and it will accept a 460, but I am going with 331

Go with the ford 9 inch for the rear end...its alot stronger than the 8.8
