SIGRTN is the "ECM filtered ground" for the sensors, the black wire in the TPS sensor harness.

can someone pull apart there connector, turn the key on and let'me know how much power if any is supposed to be supplied to the TPS...


Per his original post, we should assume he did have the key on.

try routing another ground from the battery to the frame. i had this problem and i did the ground wire from the battery to the frame and i got voltage.

yes the key is on, hehe, yes i'm dumb, but not THAT dumb

and hoadhunter, i'll check that ground, as i did recently locate the battery to the trunk, everything
else has been working fine after the install.

i even fired it up to check for voltsage, none still. everytime you give it gas it just hesitates and bogs down

ur wires are pinched cuz ur not getting continuity at either vref and signal wires. do a continuity test between the black wire at the tps and ground and do the same for signal and vref. Test at power at bat, ground and actual ecm. should only have continuity between ecm and tps, If u ahve continuity at any other location thats ur short open "power' "ground"
