Default Fuel pump size?

Its been a year since I took my car for a 12 hour road trip, the last time I took it my fuel pump stoped working, this mechanic found a spare pump that looked like mine and replaced it to get me back on the road, but now I want on that is for my car and thats good for what i have on it now.

KnN Cold Air Intake/Filter, 75mm Mass Air, 70mm Throttle, Trick Flow Street Lower/Upper Intake, 24lbs injectors (already on the car), Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, 302 Street 2 Jasper Engine, Underdrive Pulleys, A/C Smog Pump Eliminators, High-Flow H-Pipe, Flowmasters with dumpdowns.

Any Suggestions on a size? thanks.

190 would work...but while you are in there, might as well get a 255.

Leaves room for future upgrades...

I dont know that much about this but will it affect gas mileage like switching to 4.10 or 3.73 gears?

+1

Don't make the same mistake I did. I bought my first house in January, and in March my fuel pump took a crap. I figured since I bought a house, I'll never be able to afford any more mods EVER!! So I bought a stock pump at the local auto parts store. Well to make a long story short, I just finished installing the Trickflow topend kit and yep, you guessed it...a bigger fuel pump. [:@]

no it will not effect gas milage, all the extra fuel supplied will just be returned to the tank

ok. so should I go 255 or 190? they say bigger is better, but not always... the set up is gonna stay pretty much the same for a LONG time no future engine mods for a long time, focusing on suspension and handling... thanks

If you're gonna spend the money, then get a 255. I don't care if you think there are no more updates coming anytime soon. I can't think of any good reason not to get a 255. Especially since they're so cheap online. You can get one for $100 or less. Just do it once and be done with it.

255 hands down, no reason to go small or stock. Try and find a Walbro 255lph GSS340 pump.
