is there any way to chech to see if distrebuter is bad car wont start again so just wondering pardon the spelling

i have spark im not good with cars an this my sound dumb how u check fuel press

on the injector rail there is a schredor valve looks like where you'd pump your tires up.....on that fitting you need to install a gauge....also when you first turn the key to the on position do you hear the pump whine for a moment??? all that'll tell you is it's coming on and there is no elec problem in the circuit.....a gauge will tell you what the output/pressure is in the system and if the pump is capabile of meeting the spec of 35 to 40 psi

u can hear the pump i dont have anyway of checking the fuel psi that way

hmmmm then it will be near impossible to see if the pump is putting out the proper pressure.........how do you know you have spark???

you can either use an old spark plug and pull one of the wires off and install an old known goodplugand have someone crank it over while you touch the plugg installed in the pulled wire to the block and look for spark or go to the parts store and ask for a spark checker a common looking one looks just like a spark plug and has a aligator clip on it to ground it....there are many types but that's how to check for spark

i just put new plugs n the other day trying to solve this prob so i sure there good

I'm sure the plugs are good too!! the test I'm trying to show you indicates if spark is reaching the plugs....your plugs don't make spark they just trasnsfer it.... the coil is what generates the spark.....without going into the theroy in detail, the test I'm trying to get you to perform indicates if spark is present in the system if you perform the above test and see spark jumping the spark plug gap then you can assume that may not be the problem and the integrity of the cars ignition system is okay.
