Ok, i been watchin my speedo when i take off and yep it is around 25-30 before i hit 2nd. Crazy. Im thinking i may be low on fluid but since the shop that rebuilt this trans broke the dipstick i cant check it. Its broken at the hole at the hatch mark and ooks like it was cut, WTF? Im gettin a new stick tomorrow from Ford for $23.

Im positive now i had a shotty rebuild. Just say no to AAMCO.

I know but i couldnt find any performance shops around here that could get to it. AAMCO was the only one that wasnt full. And they said they did performance builds.

Apparently not. Lesson learned.

My next build is either goin all HD with a wide ratio kit or just splurge on a PA or somethin and a 2500-3000stall. A manual valve body is starting to look pretty good. At this point i just want an AOD that works. But affordable.
