Default oops

ok so i changed waterpump today i put my antifreeze in an the low coolant light comes on so i was just gonna add water to the recovery resivor an when i did i was not paying attention an filled it up to the brim so i guess i just let some out of radiator drain plugbut i was wondering is there any other was that is not so messy

there is an overflow on the res so there is nothing to worry about. It will spew over when the motor warms up and it will be all good.

Get a pump with a long hose and siphon it out into an clean container. Probably the leaast amount of mess. If the container is really clean you could use the extra freeze later.

I reread the part on the coolant light coming on. Ok, its empty not full. My bad. Thought you had excess in the overflow.

i filled up the radiater drove around an low coolant light came on so when i added to the resivor i added to much

just pop the hose going from the radiator to the overflow tank off and pull it down. Once you pull that hose down below the water level in the overflow the water will start coming out
