Default GETTING READY TO SPRAY

Everything is hooked up and seems to be ready to go. I put in the 75 jets to start. I do not have a window switch or a timing retard yet. Any suggestions? It's going to be a BLAST! I hope not...

Retard your timing! Ford 374 motor? Huh? Wha? Good luck, do you have a purge kit?

I was told to retard timing 2* for every 50 shot. I think 2* would be ok for a 75 shot also.

It could be for every 100 shot. I wasnt thinking that my engine's comp. is a little over 11:1. So maybe with the high comp. that is why it was reccomended for me to back off 2 for every 50 shot.

2* per / 50 is the rule of thumb, but also depends where your at, and some other variables....that is SUPER CONSERVATIVE so people don't blow up and try to sue. you can run much much more aggressive and still be safe

if it's under 80-ish outside........12* is fine, 14* is probably fine but start lower and up 2* at a time, use at least 89, if you use 94, your probably fine at 14* and 100 jets, especially if it's cool outside

i squirted all night saturday w/ 87 octane and 80 jets, at 12* timing , ran beautiful, it was about 70* out

i run a wet kit... 100 shot..i just adjust timing w. a light, right from the dizzy... no msd ****

i really really suggest getting a window switch tho... if its an auto just an rpm active switch would get it done, but still window would be prefered... i have a digital msd and it was only 100 bucks... no pills needed
