I have 1990 5.0 lx with auto trans and theres an oil leak that seems to originate from the top of the bellhousing. I don't know where it's comming from and it's leaking a lot. have to add a quart about every 3 weeks. Does anyone know where it might be from? plz help!!!!

What the hell are you talking about. The rear main seal is NOT at the top of the bell housing. Try the rear of the intake manifold, stick your hand back there and feel for oil

Im bettin on the rear intake gasket myself. If theres a crapload of oil and sludge built up between the pan and bell, then suspect the main seal. But if on top of the bell, check the intake first.
