air silencer

Default air silencer
is the air silence just the box that houses the air filter and by removing it would i just be leaving the air filter exposed ???
1993 gt all stock

i think taking it out kinda helps the filter suck in more air. im pretty sure most people just do it so they can hear the car suck in air when they hit the gas though

Thats it.. And its very easy to take out.. Comes right out from the bottom.. Obviously once its unbolted.
