Default Bumpstop Help

Heres the situation, I trying to run Strange 10 way adj. with a UPR coil over kit and Maximum Motorsports CC plates. MM supplied bumpstops with the CC kits. I tried fitting it onto the Strange shaft but it would not work, after about an hour I looked on the directions supplied by MM and it said that with coil over kits the bump stops are NOT needed.I called them today just to make sure and they said that the directions are wrong and that I absolutly needed to run them, they wanted to sell me their foam stops. I than called Strange to verify and they said that I DONT need to run them and he basically said that the body will bottom out before the strut will. What do you guys think? Is it really necessary to run them? EXPERIENCED people only. Thanks.

No coil overs and no bump stops on my lakewoods. Guy at my local speed shop said the same thing Strange told you, don't need them.
