Since you have already installed a new fuel pump you will just have to trace back everything involved with the fuel delivery and find the problem. I know it's a pain but i dont see any other way of finding the problem. May someone will chime in that has had this problem before and give you an answer. Damn i am glad i went with a carb this time lol.
Good luck man

Have you checked all of your fuses? Sometime its the dumbest things that you would never think would cause an issue.

On the inside of the fender? Not sure about that year, but it might be the fuel pump relay, or an a/c cutout relay. Did'nt you say you replaced the fuel pump relay? I know they're either under the drivers seat, or on the inside of the fender in the engine bay, not sure about your year, where was yours?

dude, no offence, but your on a forum full of long time mustang owners.... we know that 88 was the first year for maf cars in cali... we also know that even an 86 can have a maf in it... if converted

generally speaking... this forum knows more then you do... dont fool yourself by thinking otherwise
