Default WHICH is better a COLD air intake or a ram hood

i have an 85 mustang gt t-top 5.0 standard and i was wondering if a cold air intake would give around the same power as an air ram hood

there is little gain with either one. the ram intake hood works better at high speeds tho

the stock intake on the 87+ is a cold air intake since it gets its air from outside the engine bay (fenderwell). if you get a good filter you should be doing just as good. i personally think the best reason for an aftermarket CAI is because it looks better

I guess you must have the automatic w/ cfibecause an '85 5-speed would have no need for a CAI considering it is carbureted.
