See topic. I am curious about something. Does anyone have a pic of thier '91-ish bare block inside the lifter valley and/or under the timing cover that they could throw up here?

Thanks a ton in advance!

Thanks so much everyone. I just got my block back from the hot tank and couldn't remember what the hole from the lifter valley to under the timing cover and the hole for the distributor gear to the cam were supposed to look like. They have sharp corners and an irregular shape (more like they were made with a punch and mallet rather than cast that way) so I was concerned I had somehow damaged them... but apparently that's just what they look like. Anyone know the particular reason for the irregular shape of these passages?

Thanks again =)
