I found for me in a garage with limited room that it was easiest to drop my trans with bellhousing attached. Now, putting it back was a different story. I just took it off since lining up 4 bolts was easier than 6. I did however, install an Astroperformance billet flywheel....what's up with them? Just read where someone said they wouldn't use them again.....

Thanks for all the info, gang.

One quick question about my clutch/tranny:

My ride does have an adjustable clutch. How do I adjust it?

If you want more specs on my car, the guy I bought it from loved it (he had it 15 years) and created this website for it:

If it's an adjustable cable, there is a nut on it where it attaches to the clutch fork. You can loosen or tighten to adjust. On a side note, if it is an adjustable, throw it away. They're crap. Get a firewall adjuster, aftermarket quadrant, and a STOCK cable. Works the best IMO. My BBK adjustable cable is crap. Stretched and is fraying.

Okay, turns out I do have an adjustable clutch with a firewall adjuster. So how does that work? How can I adjust the clutch myself?

It's not really an adjustable clutch, you have firewall adjuster that allows you to adjust the clutch cable. To adjust it, you turn it clock-wise or counter-clockwise, you might have small allen bolts that you need to loosen so you can turn it. Adjust it to how you want the pedal to feel.

The ford motorsports adj. cable is a strong cable.
