LX 90

I just put 4:10 gears and a 3000 stall on my car and when i get on it the spedo goes crazy and bounces from 140-0 and everywhere in between. Any idea whats goin on.

chewed speedo gear is my guess

It doesnt always do it, just when i get on it.

recheck where the speedo cable goes into the trans......maybe it's loose, pull it out and reinstall, check the c-clip that holds it on too.

5 minute check...if it's chewed even a little get a new one, was it replaced for the 4.10's or are you waaaaaaaaay off

21 t is purple and the highest count ford unit you can get. 21t's are only for 3.27's though , so you'll be about 20% error (thats a guess)

ok no i didnt out in a spedo gear. i forgot all about it. im just gonna pick one up anyway and install it. Also i put a 3000 stall in with it, and it doesnt stall up to 3000 grand, it actually stalls a little lower at like 1600??
