What's the rest of your combo? What tires? What wheels? What rear-end setup, and gear ratio?

1.6 short time with 800.00? not with new parts and not with mild engine....you can start with either moving the battery to the rear or buying a lite BAT battery

Drag radials $270-$300, try to find a used set of eibach drag launch springs only for the front andleave the rear springs alone $50, strange 10 ways on all four corners, I think that it was around $390 for all four of mine. Anyways, that's where I would start. I've done a lot of drag suspension work on mine and those would be the most beneficial.

dude way to stay under 800
find some 4 banger springs most people will give them to ya, you can find some used50/50 shocks for the rear and even use some wore out ones on the front until you have funds for some 70/30 or 80/20's

Oh come on, the total came out to 740 at the most, that leaves 60 dollars for beer. Can a guyflip the valving upside down in the stock struts?
