For sure, I dont know why I never thought ofit before. Seems I did everything else to try and solve the rough idle but that. Its next! Then injectors (or at least have them cleaned) if the filter doesnt help.

Clean your MAF! A dirty MAF, which on your car has probably never been cleaned, will rob power, gas mileage, and make your car run like ***. I think you'll be quite pleased with the results. All that you have to do is remove the sensor from the housing, use MAF cleaner spray (I personally use brake cleaner), allow it to dry, and re-install it.

He has speed density so there is no mas air. Plus to answer the question of will it really help to change the fuel filter, I did this on my ford truck and the thing idles like a cat purring, except for the really loud exhaust note. Seriously if the tank has been run really low the deposits and junk that builds up on the bottom of the tank gets pulled trough the lines and can clog the filter thus hurting gas milage, and performance. For the price of a fuel filter I change mine everytime I do a third oil change.
