Are all the sensors plugged in all the way? Seen that way too many times, especially the MAF, where it wasn't pushed in all the way. How about the distributor, was that installed correctly and it's not 1 tooth off or something? How's the base timing? I know it's all basic stuff, but with a new build, the little things often get overlooked.

Is it safe to assume that the MAF is either calibrated to 30# injectors or you got a new tune?

You can get a chip for it, but that shouldn't be the problem. it may have problems with a rich start due to teh cranking pulsewidth but that's nothing major. And as long as the MAF is calibrated for 30# injectors, then the computer will be able to supply the correct amount of fuel.

In your first post, you said it ran for 10 minutes and then died, then it wouldn't start back up. If it was running for 10 minutes, I'm not sure how it could be a battery problem. Especially if the battery is new. Have you tested the alternator?
