i have and 88 GT 5.0 5 spd.i have the front of my engine ripped apart(doing timing chain, water pump, and harmonic balancer). right now im stuck with taking off the crankshaft pulley. the only tools i have at my disposal right now, are a 1/2 in ratchet, and an electrical air gun. the air gun is too big and wont clear the front end to get on the nut. the 1/2 in ratchet is spinning the engine and doesnt have the leverage i need from a breaker bar. my friend said hell lone me his, but not till tomorrow. i was wondering if their is anything else i should try to break the nut loose. i thought about using a cheater bar with the 1/2 in ratchet, but a breaker bar would be alot better. im still trying to brush up on mustang knowledge, since im still fairly new to the 5.0 game(rescently traded my turbo bird for a 5.0), and i read up on the forums quite alot, and the advice you guys give helps out alot.

there are about 5 , hit the ratchet w/ a hammer...they'll bust loose

What size is the spindle nut in the center? trying to turn engine over for timing
