Default About to swap out my motor mounts

i dont have a cherry picker so i planned to use a jack and a 2x4 to give me enough lift. I have never done this before so if anyone has any inspiring thoughts for me it be appreciated!

P.S., the reason for the swap is a few weeks ago i put on a set of bbk equals and my sterring shaft is rubbing on my driver side header, and my pass is leaning against my strut tower, to you guys think new mounts will remedy this?

I have the same headers. Same problem as you on the pass side.
My s. shaft isnt rubbing. The jack and 2x4 method will work, but
be careful and raise the motor slowly.

When you jack it up be careful not to crush anything on the firewall with the back of the intake.

jack it up slow on the front of the oil pan, do one side at a time. I just put solid mounts in my 5.0 last week end. good luck

If you have the engine jacked up, it doesn't matter what side you start on. I had the EXACT same problem and new motor mounts will solve this. In fact, I switch to the convertible mounts (they are smaller) and didn't have a problem.
