RE: What's next for my 5.0
I have 94 5.0 that is a daily driver and sees track time probably about 3-5 times a year. I was told I should stick 4.10s in it and with my stock tranny (t-5 ?) I would be at about 2200-2300 rpms at 70 mph. I read that link about and it said I would be at 4k what should I do. The guy that told me this is a ASE certified technician that I work with and he has raced his 3 camaro ss's for almost 10 years now. Just a little input please I dont want to be pulling 4k on the highway in my DD. Thanks for any help in advanced.

if you have a t5 your 5th gear is overdriven so it will be a lil less then that but i would not be suprised to see 3500rs at 75 mph 4.10 are realy for serious racers and cruisers deff not for daily drivers. my buddy has 3.73 and a turbo 400 in a trans am and hates driving on the highway 3.73 and a t5 sould be alright on the highway and plenty of get and go for around town

Just put in your tire size and 3.73s and then compare to 4.10s....
