IAC ?
I have been trying to reset my idle. When i disconnect the IAC module the idle doesn,t change at all ?Anyone know why it would do that?Thanx

the idle jumps around sometimes and i cant get my car to idle under 1000rpms.and my gas pedal sticks when u first push it?

The idle droped when i had disconnected it on the old one i had on there.but my idle was weird.So i put another one on there and dissconected it and no change in idle what so ever. So i put the old one back on and still no change in idle at all either.Im stumped.

i have the same problem with my gas pedal. i havent figured out what it is yet.

With the gas pedal hanging, that is probably something to do with the linkage. Clean up around TB and linkage.

binding of throttle linkage. or in my case i had this build up around the opening of the TB butterfly cleaned that out and it helped alot, almost clear it up completely.

does 86 have the idle screw on the bottom of the tb that iv been told to never touch?.........did you touch it?
