RE: vibration can't get rid of! help!
shot in the dark here, how are the bushings that hold the trans crossmember to the unibody, how are the differential bushings? I am having the exact same problem, shakes like its gonna fall apart at 70 and I havent gotten around to diagnosing it yet. Its too hot here and its not a daily driver.

cross member bushings look good though i have not replaced them. diff bushings, uppers are new. lowers also looked ok, no cracks, not soft. i've tried 3 different shops, 2 were pony speacialists $600.00 later still same problem. though, after i re asembled the tranny and put a new tranny mount on it seemed to get better. i got on it breifly yesterday and now its the same as before i took the tranny apart. also noticed it seems like when its cold in the morning the vib is not as bad. ahittz24- what type of tranny do u have? i know that tko &world class trannys must be raised a bit at the mount. they include a adjustable one.

Stop throwing parts at it and start to narrow down the problem.
Vibration at 70mph in 4rth or 5th gear and the pitch of the vibration does not change . Try neutral also. If the pitch does not change, don't waste your efforts on anything from the clutch forward.
It's driveshaft, axle or maybe wheels/tires.
Easiest thing to do is rotate tires or try a good known set.
Another thing that throws alot of people off is a balanced tire can still shake. It's may be out of round or have a bad spot in the sidewall.
