Default 4.30 gears and manual transmission

hey guys i have 4.30 gear in my 5.0 automatic, and was wondering if it was totaly out of the question to do a manual swap? does any one have a combination like this? how does it drive?

my friend has 4.30s in his 5 speed. he loves them. not very good for dd though. too high of rpm at 60

Use this calc, input 4.30 for rear end, 1.0 for 4th gear, .68 for 5th.

With stock height tires, in 4th at 70 you're at 3966, in 5th at 70 you're at 2700.
