Here is the thing about the car. It is currently a 2.3. I was leaning toward Carb so i didnt have to mess with the extra cost and time of piecing together all the electronics. I would think a intake and carb with a good cam and nice polished forged internals could make some definite HP.

thats what i did when i built my engine(not even a 10 sec) that i just ended up saying well i should upgrade this or replace this since i have it apart so i dont have to worry about it plus it will be quick and fun to drive until i get the monster built

I assume that going carbed means no AOD or AODE. what years are the best for C-4 or C-6. Obviously there is a A4LD in it right now. how much custom will be needed for a C-4 or C-6.

For the C-4, 1970 and later, be careful not to gat an C-3's from the early '80's.
There are panfill and casefill versions.
I don't think there is really any differance in them other than where the fill tube goes.
BTW, aviod anything to do with the FMX.......
