Default Im screwed

Id gotten home pretty early from work today and decided to do the valve covers for my 86 and when i went to remove the 4 little bolts from the top of the manifold thing (i cant remember the exact name) but one of the bolts were so tight that it snapped the little star bolt right off....Now I cant do anything how would i go about getting it out....?

Im guessing your talking about the nameplate on top of the plenum. Only way to get it out would be to drill into it an try and back it out with the drill. But if it broke at least you can get the intake off i had to use a hammer and screwdriver mine were so stripped.

same thing happened to me, i got asmall drillbit and drilled stright down. worked fine for me! good luck!

for the name plate? yea just drill the head off. i only have 2 of the 4 bolts holding mine one. in opposite corners

If you just drill the head off, enough for the plate to slide off, you may be able to grab the nub with a small pair of vice grips and unscrew it that way. It worked for me.
