im so confused right now.. when my car is cold it idles around 900-1000. but when its hot its around 1300.. ive sprayed the intake w/ carb cleaner a few times and got no where.. i tried unplugging the IAC and it didnt do n e thing at all. does n e one have n e ideas?

sounds like my car before, something is causing the engine to think its on a load. it took the mechanics 3 hours to figure out.

check your coolant and air temp sensors

and adder i think i will check thoes cuz my temp gauge seems to be acting a little funny.. where are they located?

coolant temp should be in front of the #1 intake runner, and air temp is IN the #5 intake runner

they said that my car was suffering from a lack of air(K&N 10 foot conical clean filter) and dirty fuel.

thats not even funny bro... being on post approval sucks.

But yea.. its a common problem with those big doofy K&N filters... your radiator fan causes turbulence in the MAF sensor and screws up the readings
