origanal tach not working

Could i just disconnect the tach in the gauge cluster since its not working anywhoo and just buy an autometer or something and just use that instead?

depends if the guage is bad or if its something in the wiring

well since im getting a tach sometime in the future anyways hould i just try it before i get a new speedo? eventually im goin to a 120 speedo but dont really know where to find one/ got no money
