Default 1000 rpmplease help me with this motor idle problem

Here's what i have for you. I just put this motor togather after an hci swap. I am using a different throttle body but i'm not saying that that is the problem. It was running fine, idleing at about 900-1000 rpm until just now. I started the car up so that i could adjust the timing some more and it wouldnt drop from like 2000 or 2300 rpm! I went to back the car out of the garage to check it out. The idle drops when you move the vehicle and then u can control it with the pedal. clutch in, it shoots back up. I dont have any idea what this could be. Could someone help me out, i would be more than happy to give more info upon request.

Do you think your timing is close to what it should be? Timing advanced too far will cause high idle. Turn you dizzy counter clockwise while engine is running and see what idle does.

bad idle motors usually dont hold idle at all, the motor usually stalls.

Are you talking about the IAC? Yea, you could take that off and make sure that pindle or whatever it is, is not sticking.

about turning the dizzy, it was idleing fine with the timing where it is now. when starting up, it kinda went up to like 2000 then came way down like 600 then back and forth about 5 times, then it just stayed up there. dont know if that is any kinda clue
