hey umm not to like start a fight, but last year i raced my car,WITHOUTthe 410 gears , torque converter (3000 stall), shift kit, aluminum driveshaft, bbk shorty headers and Mickey Thompson et street radials.. I ran a best of15.007before those additions.
fair enough i may not see 13.6 but there's no way in he\_\_ i should be any slower than 14.00 - 14.2 .... right .... anyone like to confirm that ...? cuz now i'm a little worried .... but i'm going to the track this weekend and i guess i'll find out the truth ...
inshort...... 410 gear , (3000 stall ) torque converter, shift kit , shorty headers, aluminum driveshaft, + ET street radials
= at least a second shaved off my previous best of 15.007
(when i was using street tires stalling at 1500rpms barely pressing the gasfor the launch to avoid tires spinning.)

Just find out. And remember that weather plays alot in ET's, so running with the same air temps and humidity will make for a better comparison. And it usually takes more than one trip to the track with a new combo to run the best times.

i think you willhit the 13's sec mark. all the rest is going to depend on your setup and how much weight you can drop. whether or not you shave off those millsec.

well i gotta say nitrous bob seems to know his shyt ! first run down the track was a 14.55 and i was pretty pissed. lowered the psi to what i thought was 15 psi and best pass i made was 14.36 at 94 mph. Turned out that my air pressure gauge was messed up i tried my friends expensive one half way into my bracket racing and it turned out i was running at 24psi and not 18 like i thought . So when i was running "15" i would have actually been running close to 20. But no excuses because it seemed the lower the psi i went the slower i went after half track. My car didnt have enough power to push it but i kind of wish i lowered it down to a real 12psi and seen what happend. i was in the middle of my bracket racing and didnt want to wreck my consistancy. Other than the disapointing times i came in 3rd place and won $270 so i was pretty happy. There were buys involved at the end me and this guy had to race to see who goes to the finals with a guy that got a buy and i ended up losing. It sucked i found out later that second got paid $600 and first got $900 but overall it was a fun weekend no complaints. 14.3 just means i still get to add many more mods in the future
