ID a 302
I have a 302 that came out of a '86 Mustang, I don't think it was the original to the car, how doI ID it, to know what year it is? intake and carb are not oem, as well as other things.

well if it is a carb then its not original in the 86 cause 85 was the last year for carbs

I'm sureit's not original, but how do I find out what year it is?

is it a roller motor? if so it might be an 85.

Block casting number would help. If you can get to it, it's above the starter.
